The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Fanvid and Live-performance Database
* Guidelines for Submission *
You say you want your fanvid or live-show listed but don't know how to broach the subject? Well, here's how. Follow these simple guidelines for submitting new projects, want-ads, etc., and you'll be broaching in no time. Hint: Email is the preferred broaching medium. Send all emails to abuse@yahoo.com, where "abuse" must be replaced by "mst3kfanvids". Remember to read up on the disclaimers when you're done with the guidelines. And, don't forget the Main Index for all your website navigational needs.

New Projects
All information about your project is appreciated and encouraged, of course; what follows is simply the easiest way to introduce yourself. If you're unsure about some of the information, go ahead and leave it out; further details can be provided in future emails. You will be contacted for further details and clarifications. NOTE: Submitted email addresses will not be made available to anyone, online or otherwise.
New Fanvids
To start off, put the name of your project in the subject of your email (e.g. - New Fanvid: Mystery Example Fanvid 3000). Then, in the body of your email, put

- production group name, if any (e.g. - Example Fanvid Productions)
- production title (usually the same as the project name)
- your location
- project contact email address (if other than the one used for the submission)
- project website URL
- experiment title(s) (movies, TV shows, etc.)
- when production will begin (if it hasn't already)
- estimated or exact date of completion/release
- any other info you think is important

Classifieds
So, you want to submit an ad, huh? Note that this means having your information available, worldwide, over the Internet, by anyone. If that didn't scare you away, then submit the proper info. Submissions are subject to revision (for content, length, etc.). You may be contacted prior to your ad being posted.
Projects
- Project name
- Project type (live or fanvid)
- Contact name and contact info (email address will do)
- Project location
- A short paragraph describing the type of help you're looking for:Do you need actors, writers, crew, etc.? Can writers be at a location other than where the production is happening? Do you need equipment or materials? If it's a live-show, where is it happening? When? Name the sci-fi convention, if that's where it's happening. Really, this paragraph should give enough info so interested parties can determine if they can or want to get involved. The description is up to you; write what you want.
People
- Your name
- Contact info (email address will do)
- Your location
- A short paragraph describing what you can offer a live-show or fanvid project:Do you act, write, build, etc.? Write what you want, but be concise. Use full words, not newspapaer abbreviations. You're not looking for a mate, you're applying for a job-- well, not really, but you get the point.
NOTE: Contact info will be posted in a manner designed to thwart spam robots, but this website can offer no guarantee that you will not be spammed. You are warned.
